Together Design Lab (TDL) is a team of planners, designers, and architects at Toronto Metropolitan University, operating to address housing issues experienced by marginalized communities. Working with interdisciplinary collaborators, TDL reimagines environments and addresses overall community well-being.

Vanderbrand created an approachable and energetic brand identity to capture the idea of togetherness. The brand mark is a reinvention of the plus sign, resembling collections of homes or groups of people. The mark can change or adapt to reflect TDL’s values to listen, learn, and share, together.
